Do I need to download anything?
No. This is a website, not an app. Open the link, play the puzzle. Nothing installs, nothing runs in the background, nothing asks for permission.
Is there a word search app I should install instead?
You don’t need one. The site works on every modern phone and desktop browser. If you want one-tap access, bookmark it or add it to your home screen — it’s a Progressive Web App.
Will it work on my phone?
Yes. The grid scales for phone screens, the controls work with touch (drag your finger across the letters), and there’s a tap-mode if you’d rather tap the first and last letters.
Is it really free? What’s the catch?
Every puzzle, every mode, every theme is free. The site shows ads to keep the lights on. There’s an optional one-time $5 purchase to remove ads if you want — that’s it, no subscriptions.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Sign-in is optional and only used to save your scores to the leaderboard so you can come back and beat them.
